Summer Day 13

Woke up at 9 ish.
Coffee
Bible study, prayer journal
tub
cleaned, laundry, etc
phone with ann
breakfast kashi with vanilla soy and blueberries
picked up adelle
eisenhower to drop off breadbasket food and say hi
pt exercises
snacks:  peanut butter english muffin, popcorn
met adelle's friend at orange leaf
home for adelle's favorite show
took adelle home
quick rest
spinning class
stayed for intensity class(he toned it down today, only 2 of us)
dinner alone:  burger patty, cottage cheese, leftover baked beans
painted screen trim, trim and finished window in the new room!
read until bedtime 11:30

Rex and Professor

Well, Professor is gone for the summer--went to live with Leah.  We miss his sweetness, his hugs and kisses and attention but it is kind of nice to have a break from him and his need for constant attention.  For example, I can wake up slower and take my time getting to the door to let Rex out instead of worrying about Professor getting impatient and peeing by the door.  It also means that Rex gets the attention he deserves instead of Professor always shoving him out of the way to get to us.  Scott is even paying more attention to Rex!  I also can fatten Rex up since Professor eats more than his share of food.  I bought some softer food for Rex and he gobbled it up this morning then started running around with all this energy!  Scott said, "I want some of that."  Rex seems super happy to be getting all this attention but I think he may miss Professor, too.  I can see from Leah's blogs that Professor is having a good time there and is getting lots of attention.  I hope he doesn't get too spoiled!

Summer Day 12

got joel up
bank and target for socks, etc with joel
said goodbye to joel--sad!
snack:  cinnamon almonds
water jog
laid in the sun awhile
lunch:  leftover coco bolos from last night--black and white pizza--yum
cleaned
PT--so long for awhile to Nick who is getting married
read
quality time with scott
dinner:  more black and white pizza
walmart--new swimsuit tops, groceries
put groceries away
anneberg to walk rex
home--strawberries and blueberries with Bre (the person, not the cheese)
primered screen wood
taped trim in bedroom
blogged:)
will probably read til bedtime

Summer Day 11? June 5

Got up earlyish as Scott and Larry up early to build the retaining wall
coffee
made blueberry whole wheat pancakes for the boys
watched the boys build the wall (larry, joel, scott)
fetched water, etc for them
PT exercises
read and pinterest and wasted a ton of time
napped some (trouble sleeping)
filled nail holes, sanded and painted chair rail and trim in bedroom
snacked all day healthily
walked to coco bolos with scott
ate chips and queso
registered for spark people--starting tomorrow
read until sleep

Summer Day 10

Woke earlyish to sounds of the contractor and electricians outside the window
coffee, Bible study and prayer with an electrician smoking a cigarrette 5 feet from me outside the screen door
tub
breakfast of kashi, blueberries, honey and vanilla soymilk
bank, library
parks and rec office
first day of water jog class!
laid in the sun a bit
lunch, ate leftover bbq chicken and cottage cheese (or was that yesterday?)
picked up contacts
early for PT so drove around awhile
really intense PT session
read and napped
put dinner in the over
advanced step class
larry over!
dinner with larry, joel and scott:  parmesan crusted baked chicken, baked tater, leftover corn on the cob, leftover green bean casserole from sunday
listened to the boys talk sports as long as I could stand it
scrapped the book I was reading and started Blessed Child by Ted Dekker

fixed cream corn
drove the fam to Ronnie's in Topeka
spent the afternoon with family
ate:  lots of cheese, crackers, sausage
pulled pork, salmon, cream corn, baked beans
chocolate cake
drove home
Bible study get together:  Funks, Ridders, us
Nice dinner and visit, sitting on the deck
ate:  fried green beans, mac and cheese, chicken, corn on the cob, pineapple

watched part of a movie with the fam
